Hola! Today is a very special day for me — I'm expanding my passion for listening to and sharing music with a wider audience. Up until now, my main audience has been my wife, guests, and the occasional passenger in my car.
Lately, I've been feeling the urge to collect, notice, and share music in a more systematic way — and to grow this hobby by opening it up to more people like you.
I don't have a strategy, detailed plan, business model canvas, or profit motivation — which is actually pretty unusual for me :)
I’m just going with the flow and seeing where it takes me.
About the name: "El Ritmo" — Spanish for "The Rhythm." Spanish culture truly understands what it means to feel the music and the rhythm. Just think about Flamenco!
I love picking up music in cafes, taxis, Instagram posts, DJ sets, podcasts, playlists... wherever. I enjoy catching new releases, learning the stories behind the tracks, and discovering more about the artists themselves. I don’t have a favorite genre (at least not yet). Sometimes it’s Detroit Techno, sometimes French Disco, hip-hop, or indie dance. Every genre has great music that fits different moods and moments.
So the idea is simple: to share my discoveries and the stories behind them.
